What's this all about? You're wondering that, right? Here's the deal...have you ever just wanted to BE someone else? Another stamper perhaps? A little background...there are a ton of amazing blogs that I've added to my Google Reader list. Each of them inspires me in some way each and every time that I see something new from them. Seriously, so many of them post so often that I can't keep up. When I finally sit down to read the blogs on my Reeder app on the iPad there are like 600 something posts that I've missed. Anyway, that's another issue. What I really wanted to do was to pay homage to some of my favorite creative stampers and their projects that I love. Of course, I had to come up with a little graphic for my BEING posts as well...first things first. See, the G is sort of in disguise...incognito...undercover...like me. Being someone else in the stamping world. I'm starting off with
BEING....MICHELLE WOODERSON
Michelle has been a favorite of mine for sooo long. She's also always been generous with information when asked. She really inspires me. One of her recent Halloween posts caught my eye and I decided to remake THIS CARD. My goal isn't really to "remake" the cards that I like as much as it is to create something very close to the original. Of course, I'm not always going to have the same supplies, thus, I'll end up with something a little different. Regardless, it's a terrific way to USE some of the stamps and supplies that are taking up space here in my room and have a little fun just doing what I want to do.
Wanna give it a try? YOU SHOULD. I'm calling this first one BEING01. If you should recreate Michelle's card this week, leave me a comment with the link to where I can take a peek at your version. Use the keyword if you upload to SCS instead of a blog. I would love to see what you do with Michelle's inspirational card!
Supplies: PTI Button Boutique, PTI Library Ledger, PTI Tiny Treats: Halloween, PTI Halloween Treats & Sweets, PTI Fillable Frames #9, Inkadinkado spider web, PTI Button Card die, MM Toil & Trouble patterned papers, Martha Stewart Halloween tape, buttons, twine.
What a fun idea! Like you, there are lots of ladies out there that inspire me with their creation, including you! ;) sometimes I will try and recreate one of their masterpieces as a 'self taught class'. It helps me to go through their process and use my stamps and tools in a way I might not of thought. This card is ultra cool and I would love to play along and recreate it. I have a ton on my plate this week so I can't promise that I will actually find the time, but I'll try!

OMG Lay.....such a cool idea;)!!! Sorry, I had to...hehe!
I think this is just genius! I've so often wanted to try to recreate a card that has inspired me, but then I feel like I am trying to make a cheap knock-off of the original (which, as the case is with most originals, the first is always the best), but you have found the loophole, my dear Watson!
I am seriously so excited to follow along with 'BEING'...p.s. wicked graphic!! my my, you are talented;)
