Now you should really be able to tell that I'm working outside of my standard color palette...first PURPLE and now YELLOW! Maybe the world really is coming to a halt! Kidding!
So, today is Tuesday and that means that it's time for another challenge from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS! We're around again to a sketch challenge so I'm up. This sketch should allow for lots of colorful designer paper. What's in your stash that's just begging to be used up? I chose some bright, new, and fun paper from the SPLASH pad by ECHO PARK. The colors in the pad dictated the colors that I would color with too and that's how we ended up in the land of sunny yellow sunshine.
The swanky penguin in the floatie and the sentiment are from the BY THE SEA set...an oldie but a goodie! {Are you ready for summer? MEEEE TOOOO!} I used three colors of Divine Twine for the horizontal and embellie part of the sketch. And then for some sparkle, I added swirly twinkles from Recollections.
Can't wait to see what you make up using the sketch. Make sure to add your card over at SCS using keyword TCPTUES160 and then add your card to the slide show on ALMA'S BLOG so that you're included in the Swanky Stamper contest for this month. Thanks for floating by!
Wow, this rocks! Love your sketch, the colors and your card! Will have to see if I can play along....
