Hey there stampers! Have you noticed that PURPLE. IS. IN. I'm not really a big purple kinda gal but I've been feeling a bit under the weather this week (allergies) and I think the purple in some of my new MME Lime Twist papers cheered me up a bit. I mean, where else would you find a navy skunk presenting a purple whale with a pink flower? Only here, people!
This week SUSAN is the Hipster Hostess with the mostess and her TCP Tuesday #159 challenge (keyword TCPTUES159) is "May Flowers". So, dig around in your stamps - preferably some CAT'S PAJAMAS stamps! - and create a card that features a flower or flowers.
I had to do a big of digging here too....but I finally settled on a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Here's what I used: the whale in the WHALE OF A TIME set (with the hat omitted), the skunk from the HAPPY CAMPER set, the flower from the A BEARY GOOD YEAR set, the sentiment from the SIMPLY SAID set, and the WAVE CUTUPS die to top it all off. I used patterned papers from both the Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky and Fly A Kite 6x6 pads - Nice, fun, bright colors! I added a touch of rhinestone swirl for Mr. Whale and some fuschia Stickles on the flower for sparkle plus some delish Purple Plum Divine Twine to finish it off.
You should add YOUR version of this week's challenge to the slide show on ALMA'S BLOG so that you too can be in the running for this month's SWANKY STAMPER title. And, for next week, we're back to me for a sketch challenge so come on by for a visit on Tuesday!
What a mishmash of pure glory!! Love all these different sets, dies and twine coming together to make such a freakin cute little scene! I really think 'skinny and fatty' should go steady- it might be a tricky relationship, but they could make it work! Love endures:)

Hope you are feeling better. Just love this color combo and these two stamps together. Who would've thunk it?

Awesome. I love that pop of purple. I was never a lover of purple until the last six months and find I'm wearing it and making cards with it. You did a bang up job using these two images together.
