Today's sneaky peek featured set from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS is called SPRING RAIN. Isn't she fun?! (She reminds me a little of a character from Nighmare Before Christmas and I can't wait to color her up for Halloween too!) I love that you can color or paper piece her clothes and umbrella to make her totally unique.
So, in keeping with this week's TCP Tuesday challenge #141 from JEN - to use ribbon in a non-traditional way and no bows! - I pieced the umbrella with a bit of gorgeous wide striped grosgrain ribbon. I added some Ribbon Stiff from Strano Designs to give the ribbon some strength before I cut it using a stamped pattern of the umbrella. I also added a folded tab of the same ribbon below the loopy APRON BORDER CUTUPS die cut. The patterned papers here are from Basic Grey and BLACK LICORICE DIVINE TWINE and some big buttons, plus tiny pearl raindrops from Recollections, wrap it up.
Make sure that you check in with all of the DT girls for THE CAT'S PAJAMAS this week as week Sneak Peek new images each day from our release coming out on Tuesday, January 18th. Join the fun early with the PAJAMA PARTY on our SPLITCOAST FORUM on Monday, January 17th.
