Hey there....Ready for a TCP Tuesday challenge? Hopefully you're coming here from JOANNE'S blog and following along as we blog hop to show off projects using the brand new A BEARY GOOD YEAR stamp set from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS - available Tuesday, February 9th. Lots of information and details to share this week so here goes...
TCP TUESDAY CHALLENGE
AMY is our Hipster Hostess with the Mostess this time and she's chosen the PAPER PIECING technique as her challenge spotlight. I just love the look of paper piecing. The colors and patterns of various paper create a unique look every time. And when you have an open image as cute as our bear here, you can't go wrong!
My little vignette uses patterned papers from my new Origins paper pad from Basic Grey. I also couldn't pass up the Martha Stewart punch sale at Michael's last week and puchased this Garden Trellis punch. {These punches keep getting better and this one worked like a dream even though it has all of those tiny cutouts.} I reached high on the shelf and dragged down a bunch of Prima Flowers to create a little garden along the fence. TCP buttons and Ranger Liquid Pearls finish off their centers and some embroidered stems and leaves complete the flowers. The little clip on the sentiment banner is from SU! and the striped ribbon is by KI Memories. The velvet scalloped ribbon is from Creative Imaginations.
You should definitely join us this week! That Swanky Stamper and the Kat's Kash are up for grabs again this month. Get out your Cat's Pajamas stamps and get to work. Make sure that you post your creation to the GUEST BOOK on ALMA'S BLOG to be included in the contest.
Where should you hop next? How about over to TONI'S BLOG. Fun, fun stamping creations to see...
NAME THAT BEAR CONTEST WINNER
Alma will also be announcing the winner of the NAME THAT BEAR contest. That winner will receive every stamp set that is released this year from THE CAT'S PAJAMAS. Whooopeee! She'll also reveal the bear's new name...how exciting! Make sure that you check in over on ALMA'S BLOG as she'll let the cat out of the bag at midnight PST tonight!
This card is so rich looking. Love the use of the velvet for the grass and that fencing... just grand. And I love the embellies!
