We're all about hoppin' at THE CAT'S PAJAMAS! This week we're featuring the Valentine's sets that are already available now. But the cool part is that ALMA's combined them with brand new Sweet Thing buttons and Glitzy Glitter in KITTY KAT PACK'S. There will be 4 Kitty Kat Packs. Each will feature the glitter, and buttons, as well as ONE of these sets:
Be Still My beating Heart
Loving Mew
Puppy Love
Hearts and Flowers
Remember that buying the combo saves money and that's a good thing!
Here's the order for the hop so that you can easily jump around...
Susan
Jen
Amy
Leigh (Moi!)
Toni
Joanne
Tracy
Ana
Alma
It's also TCP Tuesday...create your card using any of the sets mentioned above. Don't forget to upload it to the GUESTBOOK on Alma's blog to be entered to win this month's SWANKY STAMPER title and the KAT'S KASH to go with it!
So, as far as my card goes, let's see...I stamped the heart circle (LOVING MEW set) and the dotted circle (BE STILL, MY BEATING HEART set) using Vintage Cream ink from PTI on my Kraft base and also inked up the edges of the card. I cut the scalloped square with a Spellbinders die from a page in a vintage song book. The patterned paper featured is from the Chocolate Kiss paper pack from MY FAVORITE THINGS. I used heart and cupid Sizzix dies to cut chipboard for my glitter pieces. {The pinks are from the new Sweet Thing Glitzy Glitter. The silver is from Glitzy-03 pack.} Alma's also now carrying this fun wide striped grosgrain ribbon in four different colors!
I wanted everything to look sort of vintage so I used my Copic airbrush and the E44-Clay marker to "antique" edges on the songbook page, the ribbon, and the glitter shapes. I topped the bow off with a couple of Sweet Thing buttons from TCP and tied it with PTI button twine. I added a few little twinkly rhinestones from Mrs. Grossman's for sparkle here and there. And, lastly, I stamped the small "lovestruck" sentiment banner, also from the LOVING MEW set, to finish it off.
Now you should definitely head on over to see what TONI ARMSTRONG has created for the hop...gotta get goin' on those Valentine's!
I love this card, the ribbon looks good enough to eat.
