HIP HIP HOORAY...IT'S TUESDAY! Jen Del Muro has come up with a very Valentine-y color combo for us today. You can't miss with RED, PINK, DARK GRAY, and BLACK. I hope you'll be playing along with us this week...getting those Valentines finished and out the door. You can post a link to your card over on Jen's blog. Don't forget to use keyword/tag TCPTUES45 when posting to SCS or PCP. Get out your Cat's Pajamas and GO FOR IT!
So, I've been having a very musical stamping morning. I've got the iTunes cranked - Queensryche (my fave...did you know I'm a hairband/metal gal? Should I post my photo with Jon Bon Jovi? Hmmmm), ABBA and songs from Mamma Mia (did you know that I love musicals AND disco?!), and then an ecclectic mix of Evanescense, Finger Eleven, The Gap Band, Carrie Underwood, Jonathan Rhys Meyers from the August Rush ST (love that man AND that movie), and other stuff. I like it really loud too...good thing I'm the only one home!
When I sat down to create my TCP Tuesday card, I easily picked out the perfect patterned paper from my Valentines stash...this is from Reminisce. Then I went for the stamps and my eyes stopped on my favorite guy - and also a favorite of Carole Burrage! - Ronnie in the Lassoed (E-7523) stamp! Now, close your eyes and think of "It's Raining Men...hallelujah!"...ha ha ha. Maybe I was deeply affected by being too embarrassed to dance in front of people when I was younger (and still!). I really wanted to learn those line dances and never really did. OR, maybe I was deeply affected by that all male review strip club that was nearby when we were in college. My girlfriend dated a dancer and I'd drop her off there after a weekend night out and maybe take a little peek. That's a whole 'nother story for another day! (Hope you're not reading this, Dad!) ANYWAY, these "dance line" cards keep sneaking their way into my repertoire! Wooohooo...you go, Ronnie!
Note - Card layout is based on Julee Tilman's MOJO Monday Sketch #73. The sentiment is adapted from the "Love Muffin" sentiment in the Loving Mew set.

Hey Leigh, if you post your picture of you and Jon Bon Jovi, I'll post the one of me and Bret Michaels.
I'll definitely have to play along with this week's challenge!

ha ha ha this is great! You and I have a lot of the same taste in music too :) I couldn't reply to your post - thanks for the sweet comment - the blog layout was a result of searching for free templates for blogger on google...I lucked out - I LOVE that design - it's a little limiting - but all in all, I'm happy with it!! Thanks again! :)

Love to see Ronnie shaking his little groove thing! He just comes to life in your supple hands!!! (DO NOT GO THERE!!! He's just a child... hee. I know. I'm awful... But you're the one who makes him do the Full Monty! I think we're a bad influence on each other. Don't read this, Leigh's Dad!!! He won't let us hang out together if he does... ;) )
