'Morning, Saturday Stampers! I'm taking a little break - not for long! - from my TCP previews to share my card for this week's SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY from JEN DEL MURO. I am one of those, ahem, "older" women who can't get enough of the books, movies, and gossip about Twilight. Stephenie Meyer...YOU ROCK!
Phew, went off on a tangent there....anyway, pretty self explanatory card here. All colored up with Copic Markers, as usual. I really wanted an apple and found this one in a retired Fall set from SUINK. Don't you just love the little smirk on Edward's face? It's exactly the one he has when he catches the apple and says, "Edible art...Bella." I love that part of the movie....he's SOOOOO HOT! Ooops...got carried away again! I dug pretty deep in my crafting stash and found these pewter brads from SU! and the metal corners and tiny slide from Making Memories. (See...never get rid of ANYTHING!) I typed up the quote on the computer and printed it on a PTI label die shape. These great patterned papers are in the Oliver pad from Basic Grey.
