Did you see the movie Despicable Me? There's this part where the man takes the little girls to an amusement park and the little one sees a stuffed toy and says, "It's so fluffy I could DIE!" I love that part and that's how I felt when I saw this smiling veggie stamp set, VEGTASTIC from PAPER SMOOCHES. Veggies? Smiling? It's so cute I could DIE! I just had to have it...
Now, with my new set in hand, I grabbed my Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety pad (saved for just such a set, right!) and went to work. I really like the variety of pepper colors at the store. They're so colorful and pretty. They make the best salads, salsas, and sauces and really brighten things up on the table. Thus, my peppers card was born!
I did a bit of masking - haven't done it in a while and it used to be a staple in my repertoire - and colored it up with Copics. I tried to add some highlight with my clear blender but decided to use a white colored pencil in the end. I like that effect. A button and my fave red and white DIVINE TWINE from The Cat's Pajamas finish it off.
Can't wait to color up the peas, the tomato, the eggplant, and the carrot too! I know, I'm weird...but those smiley veggies do make me happy!

SHUT UP! You have seriously sent me over the edge with these ADORABLE stamps!! I haven't ordered, but I am now! ENABLER!! This is freakin' cute, Leigh!
