Hey there, Cat's PJs fans! I'm baaaack! Sort of...easing in. BUT, today being TCP Tuesday AND new release day for THE CAT'S PAJAMAS meant that I had to get something done...and now! JEN is this week's hostess for the supply/technique challenge: Create an embellishment using CUTUPS dies from The Cat's Pajamas. Won't you take up the challenge?!
In the most recent Family Circle magazine they featured some neat poinsettias created with felt and that really stuck in my mind. I made my flower using the small scalloped pennant shape in the PENNANTS CUTUPS die set. I rolled up some small strips of felt for the flower center and hand cut a leaf to add some green to the mix. And who do we have here pretty-ing up the whole thing? Well that's one of the little cuties from Alma's newest illustrator, ouou (pronounced oh you, oh you). This set is called MERRY WISHES. Her cute little coat and hat just screamed "plaid" so I used my Copics to give her a "burberry" look. I inked up some strips of scalloped antique bookpage for the bottom detail too.
