{SFYTT}

OKay, so I did actually do a tad of stamping this week.  I know....SHOCKING!  It's not that I can't do it physically.  My surgery went great and my recovery has been miraculous to say the least.  SO, now I think it must be mental blockage.  My creativity has atrophied from disuse!  What the heck?

While I was busy not stamping I was still checking in with various blogs and the group hub for THE CAT'S PAJAMAS.  There's been a big discussion on how to color hair with the Copics over there this week.  Hair coloring, and I mean in the crafty sense, is really an art.  There are many great tutorials out on the web.  Had to try it out, right?  And that's where my little itsy bit of stamping came in this week.  Lots of trial and LOTS of error but I did come up with some "hair" that I was sorta happy with.  And that made me think, "I'll get my card done for SFYTT!"  However, my little stamped girl really went better with LAST week's SFYTT sketch!  ACK!!  (The two sketches got switched while I was away and I was planning for the OTHER sketch.)  But, I'm hoping to keep working on it today and make it fit.  Maybe check back later if you get a moment.

I'm glad the recovery is going well! My SIL just had surgery on the 12th for a herniated disk that was causing a pinched nerve. I hope she recovers as well as you did. I can't wait to see your card!
