Can you believe it's May already?! Wow...time flies by! We're expecting it to be 90 degrees here today and we're having the neighborhood Cinco de Mayo party so it should be perfect...lots to do...lots to do. So, lemme get my SFYTT card up here so I can check at least one thing off of my list for the day.
JEN's given us another really great sketch for this week. YOU have got to give it a try! Don't forget that Jen's choosing her guest designers from her participants these days. Add your card the the Slide Show on her blog each week to be considered. Wanna get in on another little secret...well, not really so secret but you might not know....SFYTT has a Facebook page! My card uses another adorable PURE INNOCENCE stamp set from MY FAVORITE THINGS. This one's called BIRTHDAY PRINCESS. Don't ya just love her jumbo crown?! I turned the sketch on it's side this time...mainly because I liked the yellow paper that had a big thought bubble on it from Cosmo Cricket and it was a horizontal piece...in fact, all of the patterned paper here is from Cosmo....from the Early Bird and Material Girl collections. I added some vintage book page cut with the PTI Jumbo Scallops die, a piece of WRMK ribbon and PTI buttons and TCP linen twine...plus a tiny piece of cork and a bit of sewing. Then I dug deep in the drawer for some old black photo corners to finish it all off. I like it!
Okay, I've gotta head out to the store but be sure to visit the other SFYTT gals today to see how they interpreted the sketch too...

Oh my goodness!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this! The papers are AMAZING and I ADORE this PI girl (I just got her but haven't had a chance to get her inky!!). FAB card!!!

You just know how much I love this card--some of my favorite things! Love the rotated sketch, that sweet bd girl, and the photo corners! They give it that fun, vintage look!
