A FEW NEW THINGS FROM OUR CRAFT LOUNGE
I've been working on a few cards using some new stamps from one of the newest stamp companies - OUR CRAFT LOUNGE. Joy Kennedy and Cambria Turnbow, and Marianne Walker got together and are creating some cute, cute stamps that you'll have to add to your "must have" list!
LOVE BUG
This card uses the LOVE BUG set....I love it when you can combine the stamps in a set to create a little scene. I used the large mushroom, the small mushroom, the little love bug, a butterfly, the grass, and the big "LOVE BUG" sentiment here. The lover-ly patterned paper is from a small Amy Butler pad by K&Company. (That woman is a creative genius!) I used my Copics to color everything up and, although you can't see it here, I added some Crystal Effects to the hearts on the mushrooms to give them a little bit of depth.
JUST BUGCAUSE....
More paper from the Amy Butler pad here and more of the LOVE BUG set. And this cule little caterpillar-y buggie is peeking out from under the corner. This was one of those cards that keept "needing something" and just went on and on...it's a little busy perhaps. I love all of these Dew Drops...gonna have to get me some more colors....a girl can never have enough colors!
TRUE LOVE
Maybe this could be considered my "bondage" card...ha ha ha! It didn't start out that way but once it was done and included the lacing and the lock and keys, I thought, "Hmmm....". This stamp set is called TRUE LOVE and includes some neat solid stamps. (I stink at solid stamps anymore...color, color, color...I'm a purty good colorer. But definitely check out what Cambria did with this set...WOW!) The red ink here is Valentine from Storage Units, Ink & More! (Have you checked out their ink colors? They have 60 colors and they color match to their Coredinations papers and their chosen Copic packs as well!) The bright striped paper is by BoBunny.
GOT THE RUNS?
And here is my favorite. I know, I'm completely warped! This is soooo my kind of humor though. Everything about this set, called RUNNING SICK, just craked me up. I mean, really, the runs....ha ha ha ha. (I really do hope no one out there is offended...a little.) This is more paper from the Amy Butler pad...see how versatile one little pad of paper can be? The ribbons are by Basic Grey and SU! All colored up with the Copics...as usual.

Leigh: You know I'm loving that twisted card, I nearly wet my pants!!! Too funny!

I have to tell you something funny...I thought the title "true love" and that paragraph went with the toilet paper card. Imagine my face with true love toilet paper!!!

The "just because" card was so beautiful! I used the basic sketch to accommodate the stamp I was trying to design around. Love it!
Happy stamping,
Dana

These are all unbelieveably gorgeous!! I can't pick a favorite! The coloring is superb and the layouts are to die for! I think though that the true stand out is what you did with your ribbons! Oh, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I saw it! Amazing!!!
Smiles,
janna
