HOWDY RIDE 'EM RONNIE

Howdy_150     After playing with Mister Bunny last week my Cat's Pajamas Cowboys & Indians were feeling a little neglected.  And, that new Papertrey paper was calling my name.  Put the two together and you have this card...western images and non-western colors.  I love non-traditional colors and designs!!
The highlighting idea on the ghost town on this card came from a card created by another TCP design team member, Tracy Falco.  She makes the cutest cards and is just adorable.  She's been working with Alma at some stamp shows so you may have seen her demoing.  (She also totally enabled me to get my Prismacolor Markers out and actually use them...now I'm gonna need some Copics too!!)
The stamps featured here are all from The Cat's Pajamas and can be found in the Havin' A Pow Wow and It's A Western Thing Clearly Swanky sets.  You can also buy them separately on wood mounts - Ghost Town (G-7532), Ride 'em Ronnie (E-7526), and Howdy (C-7514).  Like I mentioned, this uses the new PT cardstock in Aqua Mist and Spring Moss.  I also used PT Select White.  I added a tad of color to the ghost town image with my Prismacolor Markers and a white Signo Gel pen and then used an Inkworx tool to add a splatter of tiny black dots.

Isn't that highlighting a great technique (LOL.) You use it so well. =D I don't think it's the primacolors that make this card but your *mastery* over those pens! If I gave you a box of broken crayons, I'm sure you'd still color a brilliant card!

I love this card.. well, I always love all of your cards :). Your colouring is so beautiful and I think this set is the cutest.

holy schmokes! I could have sworn that was patterned paper! Amazing

I love how you made the background for this card! I you used the greatest colors too! Love this card!!

Wow, this card is awesome. I scrolled through your post to find out what patterned paper you used for the background, and here you stamped your own. Awesome. I know lots of time and love went into this card. I wish I had your talent. This card is perfect. You should submit it for publication in something.

Leigh you are amazing! This is simply adorable. I wish I had time to play with my set but doubt I could come up with anything this cute.

Absolutely fabulous!
