BLACK EYED SUSANS & BLOG CANDY...AGAIN!
If you like sunflowers then you've got to have an affinity towards Black Eyed Susans too! (We always called them Black Eyed Susies around here. *giggle*) Actually, next to sunflowers, wildflowers of all types make me so happy. I love it when they plant the whole median strip of the highway in a sunflower mix. I really do want to pull over and pick a ginormous handful but I think they have a little sign that says that's against the law...spoil-sports!
These fun flowers are, again, from Anna Wight's new Whipper Snapper Designs release, Posies For You. I was so inspired by Jeanne Streiff's unbelievable Copic Marker works of art that I had to give my Prismacolor markers another try again today. I have a long way to go to catch up to Jeanne but I'm happy with how vivid and bright these images turned out. This cool plaid paper is from a really great Die Cuts With A View pad called The Pets Stack (with Gloss & Glitter). I couldn't pass it up last week at JoAnn's. It does have quite a few papers that include a pet of some kind but it also has a few other terrific patterns too. And they're all glittery! Gotta love that.

JUst to see flowers with all the nasty ugly snow is worth it for looking. of course, with the new dog, I wont have anything come spring to look at-he has eaten anything that looks like food (even rocks)

oooooo.... I just tried to order the set three times today from Whipper snapper and I couldn't get through, so maybe it was a sign and some sweet candy is on my way!
